This workshop will kickstart the activities of the project "Evidence-based Climate Action through Artificial Intelligence and Data Innovation for Caribbean SIDS" in Barbados. Its goal is to work towards the establishment of an efficient system for the production of greenhouse gas emission statistics for maritime trade, maritime transport and fisheries, that can be used for high-quality evidence-based policy analysis to manage the transition towards a low-carbon ocean-based economy in Barbados.
